Arcachon Cap Ferret® Oysters are in the colours that are symbolic of a product that is made 100% in France. The use of this brand is linked to the signing of a commitment agreement, which is open to all producers in the Arcachon Bay.

Quality and terroir are at the heart of the Sélection® and Tradition® ranges

Moreover, those producers who want to certify and guarantee a process, as well as specific quality levels (for all or part of their production), will turn to our two ranges: Tradition® and Sélection®. Just as with any official label of origin and quality, each of these two ranges is based on specifications that have been approved and checked by an independent body.

This range identifies an oyster as:

Origin France,
Characterised by unique organoleptic properties and a perfect visual appearance,
Having had to complete 6 weeks of low density ripening in the Arcachon Bay.

Fine and special Arcachon Cap Ferret Tradition® oysters.

This range identifies an oyster as:

Entirely produced in the Arcachon Bay, from spat collection to the selling of the oysters,
Characterised by individual organoleptic properties and a harmonious visual appearance,

This range enhances the traditional cycle and the work related to birth and breeding procedures in the area.

100% born and raised in the Arcachon Bay.
